Rather than donate directly to the chapter, another option is to donate to the Beta Theta Pi Foundation, whose purpose is to advance the educational Mission and Goals of Beta Theta Pi toward the Vision of the Fraternity. The Foundation strives to offer a variety of opportunities for gift support of the Fraternity's education activities, to communicate these opportunities to members and supporters regularly, and to provide the resources necessary to produce an effective and efficient advancement program for the mutual benefit of donors and Beta Theta Pi.

The most common donation is to the Beta Leadership Fund (BLF), an important source of operational support for Foundation programs which include academic scholarship, leadership training, equipment, and staff development. You do have the ability to earmark your donation to a brother of the John Carroll chapter via the "comments" section of the online donation form. The Sons of the Dragon Club is the Beta Foundation's annual giving club specifically for Beta undergraduates. The purpose of this giving club is to create awareness of the mission, goals, and activity of the Beta Theta Pi Foundation and to establish a culture of lifelong annual giving to the Beta Leadership Fund. The BLF is the lifeline of the Fraternity's educational activity, and joining the Sons of the Dragon Club is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates to do their part in building a bridge for future generations!

Any undergraduate who gives $18.39 or more to the Beta Leadership Fund is a member of the Sons of the Dragon Club for that fiscal year (June 1 – May 31). Contributions can be made online at www.betathetapi.org/gift.
