New members are those who have been inducted into membership of Beta Theta Pi, but not yet initiated. It is during this time that new members are engaged in an eight-week education process when they learn the history and lore of the Fraternity and begin to assimilate into the group by attending meetings, social functions, retreats, service projects, and more.
