Leadership Programs

The following programs are sponsored by the General Fraternity, and in many cases, partially or completely funded by the Beta Theta Pi Foundation. Our members take advantage of these opportunities on an annual basis. Additional information about each of the programs is also available on the General Fraternity website.

The Wooden Institute for Men of Principle
The award-winning John and Nellie Wooden Institute for Men of Principle is a five-day values-based leadership experience that is an incredible opportunity for initiated Betas to focus on the ritual of Beta Theta Pi and becoming a better leader. The Wooden Institute allows Betas to interact with brothers and Friends of Beta from across North America. Participants share ideas, dissect Fraternity ritual, partake in challenging activities that focus on leadership skills, learn more about the history of Beta Theta Pi, reflect on the Fraternity's heritage, and have fun together in Beta's birthplace - Oxford, Ohio.

Leadership College
The Peter F. Greiner Leadership College provides leadership and personal development training and education for undergraduate members of Beta Theta Pi. Conducted during the Fraternity's General Convention, the curriculum aims to provide participants with time-tested concepts and skills that can be put to use in college and beyond.

Chapter Presidents Leadership Academy
The award-winning Millor Nichols Chapter Presidents Leadership Academy (CPLA) provides an opportunity for all chapter and colony presidents to visit the Fraternity's founding site in Oxford, Ohio for three days of intense leadership training and networking with other undergraduate presidents. The program concentrates on personal and chapter leadership. Presidents will learn to become more effective leaders, develop personal officer goals, and design a framework for chapter success.

Keystone Regional Leadership Conference
Keystone Regional Leadership Conferences are a high quality, regional experience focusing on chapter officer development, principled leadership and volunteer training. During Keystone, chapter officers attend individual officer tracks, learn how to lead their chapters and set goals with the executive team.

Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute
The Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI), hosted by the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC), is a five-day coeducational experience that focuses on personal and chapter values, leadership development, team building and the art of building community. This values-oriented institute is designed to develop momentum toward positive changes throughout the entire Greek community.
